Hi there, As you probably know by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I thought I'd shed some light on what this month means to us here at Adore Me. First off, we've donated to The Breasties, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women affected by breast & reproductive cancers. It's an incredible community that we're proud to spotlight any chance we get, and we're thrilled to put on a live fundraiser with the group so you can help from home, too. More on that later. We're also excited to once again team up with AnaOno, a gorgeous line of mastectomy bras founded by designer Dana Donofree following her breast-cancer diagnosis at age 27. While dealing with the pain and discomfort that came after her bilateral mastectomy and implant reconstruction—and the subsequent lack of suitable bra options—she took matters into her own hands to create ultra-comfortable bras for those affected by reconstruction surgery. We're so inspired by both her product and her story (which you can read more about here). Going off of that: Forty percent of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who find a lump. Early detection is vital, and prevention is key—which is why it's so important to do a self-exam. Watch our video on how to check yourself. Lastly, if you're interested in helping the cause, we'll be hosting a live fundraiser on our Instagram with The Breasties on October 22 at 3pm ET. We hope to see you there, and stay tuned for more updates on Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To a safe, healthy, and happy October, Morgan Hermand-Waiche, Founder & CEO
